Du 10 au 13 février 2014, l’équipe bois du département GCE (M. Chaplain, C. Delisée, S.Morel, JL Coureau, A Cointe, JC Mindéguia, P. Galimard, R Pommier,, JM Sibaud) a reçu à Bordeaux dans les locaux du département Génie Civil de l’IUT Bordeaux, le  4th Training School intitulé : “Numerical Implementation of Thermo-Hydro-Mechanical Behaviour” dans le cadre du COST FP0904: Thermo-hydro-Mechanical Wood Behaviour and Processing. 

Cette manifestation a regroupé une vingtaine de jeunes chercheurs de toute l’Europe, dont 2 doctorants du département GCE-I2M: Boris Clouet et Guillaume Cueff.

Cette manifestation a été suivie, le 13 et 14 février, par le worshop du COST sur le thème  “Damage and Fracture Coupling with Thermo-Hydro-Mechanical effects“, dans les locaux du dépârtement Génie Civil.

Trois présentations ont été réalisées par ou en collaboration avec des membres du laboratoire :

D’autre part, cette manifestation a permis également de faire découvrir les équipements des plateaux expérimentaux (Xyloplate et Xylomat) nouvellement arrivés et  localisés dans  du Bâtiment A11 BIS (Capforest), le jeudi 13 février en soirée).
